Cafes and Restaurants
Café des Sports, Savonnieres
Friendly bar and café on the side of the Loire. Cycle friendly with bike racks and plenty of tables so there is always a seat.
Always full of friendly cyclists. The Charcuterie board is fantastic and next door is a Patisserie serving cakes and quiches which can be eaten at the bars tables. Sit down, relax and be waited on by the friendly staff.

La Brehemontaise, Brehemont
Restaurant and cafe in the small village of Brehemont. Nice to sit beside the river with a coffee watching the world go by. Offers a good selection of food and drinks. Always a good stop for us in a village we love. Cyclists everywhere through this village as its situated on the main Loire Velo route.

Les Terrasses d'Usse, Rigny Usse
Table service restaurant opposite the impressive Chateaux d Usse. A popular stop off for tourists visiting the castle as well as passing cyclists and locals. Good quality food at reasonable prices, The Burger with chips and salad is my favourite choice. Waiting times can be long if its very busy but worth the wait when it comes.

Various, Azay le Rideau
Far to many places to list in Azay le Rideau . Good cafes and food outlets spread over the centre of the town. On the small lane down towards the chateau is Volo Café offering mouth watering ice cream and very nice coffee.

Bar Du Centre, Avoine
Small cafe in the centre of Avoine town. Table service in the courtyard area of the church. Only 1.50 euro for a cappuccino and we have not eaten here yet but the menu looks to include all the usual French cuisine. A nice place to just sit and relax next to the fountain.
