We managed to book a few days away in the caravan which coincided with an unusual heatwave. With the sun beating down every day I managed to get a few rides in on the quiet lanes. Only short rides of 30, 18 and 23km but just felt good to back on the bike.
The discovery of a cycle lane on an old railway stretching around 30km was fun to ride offered great views of the area and wildlife scurrying around in the sun. Looking forward to exploring more when we get back to the area.
Hopefully in glorious sunshine too.
